Summary

A property in Bixby needed a new look and better weather protection. Our job involved upgrading the exterior with fiber cement board and batten siding, installing a new door for storage access, and finishing with detailed window and door trim. The work was needed to replace aging cedar lap siding and address access needs for a small storage area.

The Work

Removed old cedar lap siding and inspected the sheathing
Installed James Hardie vertical panels with battens for a classic board and batten look
Installed an exterior pre-hung door to a storage area, including framing adjustments and weatherproofing
Added new HardieTrim around windows and doors, sealing each joint and exposed cut
Installed 10 linear feet of matching exterior soffit with trim and venting

The Outcome

The updated exterior now stands up to weather better and looks more polished. The new siding and trim give the home a fresh appearance, while the added storage door improves everyday function. Small details, like careful caulking and trim work, help the whole exterior hold up for years.
